OVERVIEW:

Har ki Dun is a cradle-shaped valley set at the height of 3566 mts in the heart of Govind Ballabh Pant National Park. Surrounded by snow-covered peaks and alpine vegetation, Har-ki-Dun is, hands down, one of the most beautiful trekking destinations that showcase the outstanding natural beauty of Uttarakhand.

Har ki Dun Valley offers spectacular views of untouched valleys in the far-off lands of the Garhwal Himalayas. It is one of India's most beautiful places, offering numerous trekking excursions.

ITINERARY (ex SANKRI):
Day 1: Arrival in Sankri
Day 2:Sankri - Taluka - Poani Gharaht / Chiludgadh (Drive: 12 kms, Trek: 12kms)
Day 3: Poani Gharaht / Chiludgadh - Osla - Seematra (Trek: 10kms)
Day 4: Seematra - Har ki Dun - Seematra (8-10kms)
Day 5: Seematra - Gangad (Trek: 12kms)
Day 6: Seema - Taluka - Sankri (Trek: 9kms, Drive: 12 km)
Day 7: Departure to dehradun. time to say goodbye to the mountains.

ADVISORY:

  • A medical certificate for fitness for doing this trek is mandatory.

  • Smoking, drinking and consumption of illicit substances are strictly prohibited.

  • Buying of any illegal material is strictly prohibited, and the participant will be detained and handed over to the government authority.

  • Instructions from the guides should be strictly followed.

  • Guidelines issued by the state government are to be followed.

  • Social distancing is to be maintained.

  • Frequent hand sanitisation and use of mask recommended.

  • To ensure utmost hygiene, the place is daily cleaned and sanitized.

  • Please provide a valid ID at the time of check-in.

  • The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.

  • Avoid uncomfortable clothing during the activities (like sarees, etc.).

  • Carrying jewellery or other valuables is not advisable.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • No cancellations will be taken over phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Please reply to the email of the payment receipt that you received at the time of booking regarding the cancellation.

  •  Free Cancellation up to 60 days before the departure date (Booking amount is non-refundable)

  • If you're cancelling the trip within 10 Days of the Departure Date then only 20% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and the remaining sum will be refunded.

  • If you're cancelling the trip and opting for a refund within 2 Days from the Departure Date then 100% of the total trip cost along with the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are not eligible for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand. 

  • There would 30% refund provided in case some problems occur due to government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances. On the occasion of any such happenings, we have a backup plan ready most of the time and we'll be moving on that. There are times when we would have to cancel some activities mentioned in the itinerary but it's only due to the reason that we would be bound by a circumstance that is not in our control.

  • If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a travel voucher of 70% for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.

  • Suppose a trek/trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). In that case, no refund would be provided.

  • Hamrahi will not bear any extra expense due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strikes, bandh, etc.).

  • Cancellations policy differs for popular destinations and also during peak season, kindly confirm with your operator once.
