DESCRIPTION:

Prashar lake trek is the perfect weekend trek from Delhi to enjoy some peaceful time while also having to envision an adventurous journey ahead. The Prashar Lake trek is famous for many things, including the Parashar temple, its hilly climb, breathtaking weather in Prashar, and the lake itself. 

To reach Prashar lake, one has to first cover the distance between Mandi and Parashar, where the village Mandi is the starting point for anyone visiting Prashar lake.  Prashar Trek distance sums up to be around 7.5 Km and makes up for a wonderful uphill climbing experience.

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival in MANDI. pick up by car, & drive to Baggi (starting point) here you will be served breakfast and will be briefed by our team about the route and trek after which you will start your trek to Parashar lake. Camping at Parashar lake.
DAY 2: Witness the magical sunrise at the lake after which breakfast will be served followed by the descent to Baggi. From here you will be dropped at mandi by car—time to say goodbye to the mountains.

  • Any Airfare / Rail fare other than what is mentioned in “Inclusions” or any type of transportation.

  • Parking and monument entry fees during sightseeing.

  • Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.

  • Any personal medical expense apart from first aid.

  • Any other services not specified above in inclusions

THINGS TO CARRY:

  • Woollen clothes, woollen cap jackets, socks, thermal wear, snow gloves/normal gloves, etc.

ADVISORY:

  • A medical certificate for fitness for doing this trek is mandatory.

  • Smoking, drinking and consumption of illicit substances are strictly prohibited.

  • Buying of any illegal material is strictly prohibited, and the participant will be detained and handed over to the government authority.

  • Instructions from the guides should be strictly followed.

  • Guidelines issued by the state government are to be followed.

  • Social distancing is to be maintained.

  • Frequent hand sanitisation and use of mask recommended.

  • To ensure utmost hygiene, the place is daily cleaned and sanitized.

  • Please provide a valid ID at the time of check-in.

  • The exact location will be shared with you post-booking.

  • Avoid uncomfortable clothing during the activities (like sarees, etc.).

  • Carrying jewellery or other valuables is not advisable.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
  • No cancellations will be taken over phone calls or WhatsApp messages. Please reply to the email of the payment receipt that you received at the time of booking regarding the cancellation.

  •  Free Cancellation up to 60 days before the departure date (Booking amount is non-refundable)

  • If you're cancelling the trip within 10 Days of the Departure Date then only 20% of the total trip cost will be charged as a cancellation fee and the remaining sum will be refunded.

  • If you're cancelling the trip and opting for a refund within 2 Days from the Departure Date then 100% of the total trip cost along with the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.

  • You are not eligible for a refund if you fail to show up on the day of departure under the given timeline that has been provided to you beforehand. 

  • There would 30% refund provided in case some problems occur due to government orders, harsh weather conditions, protests, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances. On the occasion of any such happenings, we have a backup plan ready most of the time and we'll be moving on that. There are times when we would have to cancel some activities mentioned in the itinerary but it's only due to the reason that we would be bound by a circumstance that is not in our control.

  • If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.) then the participants would be provided with a travel voucher of 70% for the same amount that can be used within 365 days of the issuance date for any package worth the same amount.

  • Suppose a trek/trip has to be aborted midway due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, etc.). In that case, no refund would be provided.

  • Hamrahi will not bear any extra expense due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strikes, bandh, etc.).

  • Cancellations policy differs for popular destinations and also during peak season, kindly confirm with your operator once.
