1) Parashar lake
Surrounded by the Dhauladhar ranges in Kullu Valley is a blue-water lake called Prashar. Prashar Lake is a well-kept secret in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The trek follows a charming trail through a forest and several rivulets. Meanwhile, one can enjoy the local culture as the trail goes through villages as well. The trek offers a 180-degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and Kinnaur mountain ranges.

2) TRIUND
This trek is a bit more challenging than Bhagsu, approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on your speed. The entire trek to Triund is just an experience in its way. The trail passes through beautiful deodar, rhododendrons and oak forest. It is pasture land with lush green grass overlooking the Dhauladhar ranges. The view of the valleys and hills is worth the trek. At night camping under the starry night is very soothing and surreal.

3) Kareri lake
It is quite a long and bit challenging trek, slightly out of McLeod Ganj. If you like wild adventure, it is your cup of tea. This trek is quite adventurous, with trail crossing amazing forests, hills and valleys, and local villages. Trekkers usually camp under the moonlight that illuminates the dark. At an altitude that high you are filled with peace and calm. There is also Kareri lake which is named after the village.

4) Kheerganga
If there is one word to describe Kheer Ganga, it is surreal and incredibly beautiful. Kheer Ganga in Kasol is a frothy white river mountain falling high up from the mountains. The Kheer Ganga trek is one of the most sought-after treks leaving people bewildered after completing the trek. Likewise, the only way to reach the trek point is to cross the arduous trek. Travel enthusiasts rave about the beauty of the place. The trek is about 12 km taking about 6 hours to complete. Take breaks in between the trek and enjoy the serenity of the place.

5) Bhrigu Lake
Bhrigu Lake is a beautiful glacial lake between two high-altitude ridges, east of Rohtang Pass. You can take an overnight bus from Delhi to Manali. Just 24 km from Manali, a trail runs up from Gulaba to a beautiful lake that is frozen in winter. The remarkable thing about this trek is that one can reach an impressive altitude of 14,000 ft and experience snow over just three days of trekking!
